London Double Decker Facts |

1. they must be over 25 years old to be imported
into the United States because they do not meet Federal Safety
regulations. |
|
2. Parts are not available for them in the United
States so most of them are not maintained and have a high
occurrence of breakdown |
|
3. They have No bathroom |
|
4. They have No air conditioning |
|
5. They have a heater but odds are it won't work |
|
6. They only go 45 Mph so they should NEVER be
taken on freeways |
|
7. Rarely do they have any stereo system and if
they do your old pinto probably will sound allot better |
|
8. they have SOLID spring suspension making for a
very uncomfortable ride |
|
9. Seats typically are 1/2 inch plywood with 1/2
inch foam (OUCH sore butt) |
|
10. I they have not been retrofit with a right hand
exit they are dangerous because you have to load and unload into
traffic. |
|
11. Every year numerous people are killed and
seriously injured as a result of the open top configuration |
